Designs for Health Hormone Spotlight™

Designs for Health Hormone Spotlight™ test delivers a comprehensive urinary assessment of estrogen, progesterone, androgen, and adrenal hormone metabolites collected over a full day. By evaluating hormone production, metabolism, and clearance across a 24-hour period, the test provides insight into daily hormone rhythms and metabolic pathways relevant to female hormonal physiology. Using gold-standard LC-MS/MS technology, the test provides highly accurate quantitative measurements of hormone metabolites and clinically relevant ratios.

The test also evaluates key hormone metabolism pathways, including estrogen hydroxylation and methylation patterns, androgen metabolism, and adrenal hormone conversion. Multiple timepoints of adrenal hormone activity — including waking, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, and bedtime measurements — help illustrate daily cortisol and cortisone rhythms. Together, these insights support health-care practitioners in developing personalized nutritional, lifestyle, and supplementation strategies tailored to each individual’s unique biochemistry.
